-The board accepted $1 million in emergency rental relief funds from the city of Minneapolis for the county’s rent relief program. The additional funds are intended to address the impact of Operation Metro Surge on households unable to pay rent.

• The board approved an amended Joint Powers Agreement with Minneapolis to set a $2 million maximum receivable amount. This change followed Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey’s proposal on March 11 to add an additional $1 million to the program, which would bring the City’s contribution to $2 million. The Minneapolis City Council must approve the additional $1 million at a future date.
• The board approved a $1 million contract for ADA ramp improvements on county roads in 2026.
