This was the first meeting of the year for the Capital Long-Range Improvement Committee (CLIC), which meets every year in the spring to make recommendations to the mayor and City Council on budgets for things such as street resurfacing, water and sewer infrastructure, government building upgrades and public art projects.
- The committee received a presentation on Climate Equity Plan updates, which emphasized decarbonizing existing city buildings as a key focus.
- The committee received remarks from Chair John Bernstein, who emphasized disagreement with many of the proposed changes to the CLIC structure, especially reducing the number of committee members from 33 to 23.
